How Indata Technologies handles information collected through this website.
What we collect
When you submit the inquiry form we collect the name, email address, organization, project type, referral source, and message you provide, along with the date and time of the submission and the IP address it came from.
We use the IP address only to recognize spam, to limit repeated submissions from the same connection, and to make sure only genuine inquiries are counted when we measure our advertising. It is included in the inquiry we receive, and a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of it is kept on our web server for no more than 24 hours for those purposes, after which it is deleted automatically.
Advertising measurement
We advertise on Google Search. To know which ads lead to inquiries, this site uses Google's advertising and measurement services — currently the Google Ads tag, and Google Analytics if we add it — which set cookies in your browser and report when an inquiry form has been submitted. They report that a submission happened, not what you wrote in the form. Google's services are the only third parties on this site: no other analytics, no other advertising networks, and no social media embeds.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Nothing on it requires a cookie to work, including the inquiry form — block or delete them and every page behaves the same.
The cookies that are set come from the Google services described above, and they exist to connect an ad click to an inquiry so we can tell which advertising is worth paying for. To control them:
- Opt out of personalized Google advertising at adssettings.google.com
- Block or delete cookies in your browser's privacy settings
- Write to us at projects@indatatechnologies.com and we will tell you what we hold and remove it
We do not currently show a cookie consent banner. Our advertising runs in the United States, where consent before setting these cookies is not required. If that changes, this page changes with it.
How we use it
Solely to respond to your inquiry and to discuss a possible engagement. We do not sell, rent, or share inquiry information with third parties, and we do not add inquirers to a marketing list without their agreement.
Client materials
Documents and data supplied to us for processing are handled under the terms of the applicable engagement agreement, which governs where the work is performed, who may access the materials, and how long they are retained. Client materials are not used for any purpose other than performing the contracted work, and are never sold or shared with third parties. Our operations are in Michigan and Ohio and that is where work runs by default; any other arrangement is agreed with the client in writing before it happens.
Everyone who handles client materials is background checked and works under a signed confidentiality agreement. Every project ends with a documented record of what happened to the originals — returned or destroyed — agreed before the work begins. See our security page for detail.
Retention
Inquiry correspondence is retained for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the business relationship. You may ask us to delete your inquiry at any time by writing to projects@indatatechnologies.com.
Your choices
Write to projects@indatatechnologies.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted.
